Climaxing the 16 Days of Activism: Women Against Violence and Exploitation in Society-Sierra Leone (WAVES-SL) with support from Comic Relief (CR), through the project titled: “Promoting Access to Justice and Transforming Negative Social Norms through Women Human Rights Awareness in Sierra Leone” celebrates the International Human Rights Day held on the 10th December 2025 at the SIDAMI Hall, New Gerihun Road, Bo city.

The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence is an annual international campaign that runs from 25 November to 10 December every year. It focuses on raising awareness, advocating for change, and ending all forms of violence against women, girls, and gender-diverse people.

This year’s (2025) global theme speaks on “Unite to End Digital Violence Against All Women and Girls”.
