A Total of 175 School Girls (25 per Community), and 14 Schools (one Primary and One Junior Secondary per community) were directly supported.

The support is to commemorate the International Day of the Girl Child, as annually slated to be done on the 8th October.

Community Stakeholders, mostly schools’ heads and our community-based Safe Space Mentors, Mentees, Parents and school pupils were present during each community support distribution done by WAVES-SL Staff and Interns from MADAM and Njala University—-Bo Campus.

Heads of Schools, parents and pupils were happy for the support, as schools’ heads and parents said the support was very timely, especially in this rough time, where both the central and decentralized government supports are yet to come to the schools for the upscalement of education and learning activities across the country.
