19th July 2019 the Executive Director WAVES-SL Madam Hannah Fatmata Yambasu at the ECOWAS Court of Justice in Abuja, Nigeria for hearing of the case filed against the Government of Sierra Leone’s ban on visibly pregnant girls from attending mainstream School.
Women Against Violence and Exploitation in Society-Sierra Leone (WAVES-SL) is a National Non-Governmental Organization which exists to empower women and children (especially the girl child)
It was a victory to the girls of Sierra Leone when WAVES-SL on their behalf won the case at the ECOWAS Court against the Government of Sierra Leone for banning visibly pregnant girls from attending mainstream school
